When you file a Notice to Owner, the property owner (or lender, if there is a loan for the project) is responsible for making sure that you are paid, and should request that their general contractor have all subcontractors sign Lien Waivers when they are paid.Often, the Lien Waiver form is provided to you by the general contractor, owner or lender.
