NTO Florida

Do you need an NTO Florida?

The Notice Zone Florida NTO (Notice to Owner) service proudly serves all of Florida.

Construction laws differ from state to state. At the Notice Zone, we specialize in Florida construction notices; especially the research and serving of the Florida NTO (also known as the Notice to Owner). We also offer other Florida construction notice services, including Notice of Nonpayment and Notice of Intent to Lien service. Other companies that offer nationwide service may not be familiar with the particularities of Florida construction law statutes; using a Florida NTO company to serve you is the best way to ensure that your needs are being met and that you meet the strict requirements of Florida construction law. The Notice Zone ONLY works in Florida – we specialize in Florida Lien Law and Florida Construction Notices.

Florida statutes require that you serve an NTO on EVERY job where you are not working directly with the owner (in contract with the owner) or where you are working as a subcontractor. If you aren’t sure if you are working for the owner on a project, please don’t hesitate to CONTACT US AND WE WILL CHECK THE PROPERTY RECORDS FOR YOU FREE OF CHARGE. We want to make sure that your lien rights are protected under Florida law. The Notice Zone has access to property records in every county in Florida, including the major metropolitan areas such as Miami-Dade County, Orange County, Leon County, Pinellas County, Hillsborough County, Brevard County, Volusia County, and Broward County.

A Florida NTO tells the owner that you are working on their construction project, and by sending the notice you have secured the right to lien the property in the case that you don’t get paid when the project is complete. If you wait until the project is complete or until you get the feeling that you may not get paid, you will most likely be out of time to serve your NTO. Florida law only allows 45 days from your FIRST day on the project to serve the Notice to Owner; if you go past this time without serving the NTO, you lose your right to lien the property.

At The Notice Zone, WE WORK HARD TO COMPLETE AND MAIL YOUR NOTICE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. Rush service is available for additional fee (rush service is for Notices that need to be sent out within 48 hours of the request).

Click here to go to our online Notice to Owner Request form. Once you submit the online form, we will contact you to let you know we have begun to research your notice.

We would love to earn your business and be your Florida NTO service.
